An island within an island, where each space is given over to light, to nature, to freedom. The Canonnier Beachcomber is an enchantment for young and old. A t the tip of the island. Alone with the lagoon, the sky and the palm trees. Set in a semicircle around the palm grove, two white wings housing the guestrooms open on to the lagoon. Far from the hustle and bustle, the brand new Kids Club, fully redesigned to include the natural habitat. To welcome your children, four big tents are camped around a play area on the sand, all coordinated by Korine, who manages the Kids Club, and her energetic team. Little poufs where they can curl up, a corner for reading and board games, zumba and ravanne drums, all the colours of the rainbow plus paintbrushes to bring out their creative side. And there’s even a veg garden where all the children are encouraged to plant herbs. Not forgetting the mini-Olympics on the beach, crab hunting and fishing with nets. Fun, educational, energetic and eco-friendly, the Kids Club is open for kids from 3 to 11. As for your teenagers, the Canonnier Beachcomber is hard to beat! There’s the ancient fort under siege: not by English garrisons, but by young people from all over the world. Revamped with techno music, the Fort – with all its treasures: pool, table football, and the latest video games – is their hideout. It won’t be easy to drag them away. Probably better to go and see them... unless of course they’ve already set off for other activities: diving, paddleboard, kayak, archery tournaments, or an escapade further inland. Or perhaps they’re playing a round of mini-golf! This is the new hit, surrounded by trees and the lagoon. Nothing less than a true replica of the last 9 holes of the legendary "Mont Choisy Le Golf" course designed by Peter Matkovich .
