Beachcomber Magazine 04

Partner and neighbour of the Paradis Beachcomber resort, the Dinarobin Beachcomber shares a treasure with its older sibling: the Morne Brabant peninsula. J ust before daybreak, the sight is breath- taking. At the foot of the Morne Brabant – listed as one of the UNESCO world he- ritage sites – the lagoon, immobile and patient, looks like a slate-grey eye. It takes you body and soul. The first Arab sailors who discovered the island must have done so at daybreak. And they named it Dina Arobi, the silver island. From the terrace of your guestroom, you can see it all. Spread out in the grounds covering some 50 acres, all the bungalows, apartments and villas face the sea, unless they also have a swimming pool with birds flitting to and fro casting their little shadows. Each part of the park hides its treasure. Here, the bougainvillea, luminescent under the sun’s rays. There, the tecoma with its large leaves, veering towards royal purple. Further on, the huge Indian almond trees which shade the hottest hours. And the frangipani trees that give off a subtle perfume that only the salty breeze from the ocean can overcome. At the Dinarobin Beachcomber, the Indian Ocean is always ready to steal the limelight from either the gardens or the splendid 18-hole golf course or the sophisticated sports facilities. Big game fishing, kite-surfing, deep sea diving among the corals, a trip around Crystal Rock… Eternity is not long enough.  THE ISLAND WITHIN THE ISLAND Dinarobin Beachcomber Golf Resort & Spa RESORTS THE ART OF BEAUTIFUL 92
