Beachcomber Magazine 07

Between culture and nature, Victoria Beachcomber hides infinite treasures for a wonderful family holiday. On land once dominated by queens (Victoria) and kings (Louis XV), not far from the famous Pamplemousses botanical gardens, the Resort is seeped in history. Nature too is omnipresent. Towards the sea, the Beachcomber Diving Academy, which has PADI GREEN certification and has been designated the “best diving school in the Indian Ocean” by the World Travel Awards, is located next to the most beautiful undersea sites, with myriad wrecks, drop-offs and reefs. Towards the garden, the Resort cultivates its lush green grounds of over ten hectares, affording privacy and tranquillity to the individual apartments, rooms with balcony and private suites facing the sea. For those in search of peace and quiet, the Resort has created a “zen” area, the “Victoria for 2”. Children and teens also have their own special temples and a whole range of supervised activities. No doubt about it, Victoria Beachcomber defuses a warm, peaceful and friendly atmosphere – thanks to the All Inclusive feature –, and has something for everyone. The same can be said for gourmet food. In addition to the Morris Beef restaurant and the Nautil Café, reserved for guests of the “Victoria for 2”, there are some magnificent restaurants: Le Superbe with memorable buffets, and, at each end of the beach, L’Horizon and La Casa – one for freshly-caught fish, the other for Italian specialities. Not to mention the new bars, on the terrace, the beach or by the pool.
